Accessibility

The Lotto WDSF World Breaking Championship 2023 is the fourth edition of the World Breaking Championship. It will take place from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 September 2023 in Leuven on the Ladeuzeplein. The entire city centre will be completely immersed in the atmosphere of breaking and hip-hop for 3 days, we aim for it to also be an accessible World Championship for all sports fans, including visitors with specific needs and requirements. This is why we are committed to the initiatives below.

Accessibility

We want to provide support for a smooth arrival for people with disabilities. This applies to those arriving by car or public transport. The ‘mobility info’ section shows how to get to the event by car, train, tram, bus and/or bicycle from various locations.

In the streets around Ladeuzeplein, there are several parking spaces for people with disabilities. These can also be found under ‘mobility info’.

Wheelchair users

Via the website, we provide a plan with specific info for people with disabilities. This includes adapted passageways, reserved seating areas, sanitary facilities, box office, payment and info centres.

All passageways are sufficiently wide, free of obstacles and adapted to the expected number of visitors. Access paths to and at the event are levelled, solid and slip-resistant. Any height differences are eliminated with ramps.

Support

Anyone needing support during the event can contact the stewards at the 2 breaking circle entrances for assistance.

Anyone with further questions or needing more information on accessibility can contact info@worldbreakingchamps.com.
