About the event
The WDSF World Breaking Championship is a breaking championship for breakers around the world, organised by the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF). WDSF is a non-profit organisation and the global governing body for breaking. WDSF is formed by national dance sport federations around the world and is recognised by the International Olympic Committee as the sole competent authority on breaking.
The 150 best B-boys and 100 best B-girls from around the world will compete in Leuven. The WDSF World Breaking Championship is a closed event. This means that the athletes themselves cannot register for the World Championship, but the national federations must make a selection of maximum 2 men and 2 women to represent their country.
